what to know more about the gaming industry?

Multimedia technology has become increasingly important in the development and play of computer video games. Game developers of virtually every game genre have leveraged advancements in multimedia software and hardware to design exciting new games with improved gameplay and near film quality special visual effects. This trend has not only resulted in the explosive growth of the video game industry, but has motivated extensive  research activity in network gaming, computer animation, rendering,  modelling, simulation, speech, and artificial intelligence. Although, video games are inherently visual, as the level of graphics converges on multiple game platforms,  developers will need to seamlessly integrate a variety of media technologies to continuously differentiate their titles. ICME is an excellent opportunity for experts in this field to discuss innovative ways to meet this challenge.
